i wonder if people are aware that there is more to the concept of ‘minimalism’ other than things that are white and glossy?

There’s nothing wrong with that sort of thing. Obviously it’s worked out nicely for Apple and scores of imitators. It’s just funny that the meaning of words change. Minimalism now is simply an aesthetic.

I accepted OHLAP at the beginning of this year to help cover tuition. It was an option, so I took it. Now OHLAP has decided not to give it to me afterall….so now I have to pay that shit back. Darn you financial aid! Don’t make it an option if you don’t mean it!

Financial Aid was the most stressful part about college. It’s such an ineffective system. I wish you luck.

The nesting babies are fed bellies-full of plastic by their parents, who soar out over the vast polluted ocean collecting what looks to them like food to bring back to their young. On this diet of human trash, every year tens of thousands of albatross chicks die on Midway from starvation, toxicity, and choking.”

Strikes me that in just reblogging a part of the post, or just the photo, you’re stripping it of whatever context I’ve attempted with the text.

Which is unfair to both me and the person I’m shooting.

If you don’t like the whole package, just leave it be, as opposed to implicitly saying “ooh, I like this picture, but don’t much care for whatever you said alongside it.”

I showed you a picture in person, you wouldn’t tell me to shut up so that you could look at it without my pesky explanation.

There’s no reason we can’t be as courteous online as we are in real life.

At press time, the princely scribe was seen finishing his apricot jasmine tea, asking a mere mortal sitting nearby to watch his literary accoutrements, and then prancing off to the Starbucks powder room, light as a feather.

So hilarious. (note: there are 4 moleskines in my general vicinity right now…)
