So…I started an Etsy shop.
My current plan is to design a nifty limited-edition poster every week and put it up there. So if you feel so inclined…show me some love, share it, like it, buy it (yay!) but at the very least…
Check it out!
(this week’s poster features my favorite Avett Brothers lyric)

its a “I’m not a paper cup” …great idea

Isn’t this the same thing as getting a coffee tumbler except with an open hole in the lid that doesn’t seal instead?  Why would you buy an on-the-go cup you can’t just put in your bag when you’re finished?  Even when the cup is empty, whatever drops are left over will drip out.  Though the irony is nice, this is too inefficient for my money.

I have one of these. I received it as a graduation gift last year. It’s porcelain so I never really considered it an “on-the-go” type of thing, but it’s my main coffee cup for use at home and in the office (which are admittedly the same thing) and I love it. It’s cheeky, sure, but also very functional — between the air-pocket-filled porcelain and the silicone lid, it keeps the beverage warm far longer than a normal mug or coffeecup. Plus I just love the design of the thing, and it fits the hand really well.

An illustration I did last night for The Tulsa Project, my online magazine. Happy late new year, everyone.
